What's the Skoda Octavia like to drive? Octavia models in recent years have been available with the choice of petrol, diesel engines or a hybrid powertrain option.. Kicking off the range is a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 110hp, followed by a larger 1.5-litre option that offers 150hp and is more suited to those wanting a bit more of a kick.
We have a Britax Duo Plus seat, which we use in the Roomster in ISOFIX mode. It's a very good seat. It fits OK in the car, but I did modify the plastic spacers that keep the metal fixings away from the upholstery as they didn't fit very well. My advice when fitting an ISOFIX seat is to recline the seat in the car, to give a bit more adjusting room.Like the rest of the Octavia range, you can choose from the estate or the half-sedan-half-hatch body. The drivetrain comes from the standard Golf GTI, packing the 2.0-liter turbo four-pot EA888 engine with 242bhp. Mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Good for a 0-62mph time of 6.7 seconds.. 72 305 370 138 200 262 164 121 272
