Citroen have issued a re call XYS for the C4 - Click Here - for this which may have been missed. Recalled vehicles will have the control column unit I have replaced the battery but facing a large investigative bill for Citroen of a 12 hour fault finding exercise (£90 per hour) with no guarantees. I have looked through the site and it seems like the Brake pedal switch and under bonnet fuse box may be the problem.
Peugeot 207 ECU - common anti pollution fault. This Peugeot 207 ECU is a very common failing unit that affects vehicles built between 2007 and 2015 with the standard 1.4 and 1.6 litre engines and also the higher powered VTi and GT CC versions. We see a lot of these 207 ECUs failing, causing the 'anti pollution fault' message to be displayed

Engine bay fuse box is a common problem at the minute, mainly affecting the new C5, but also C4 Picassos. I'm surprised that they hadn't heard of the fault code P0001 and linked it straight away to a faulty fusebox. The fault is a poor or faulty contact inside the fusebox on fuse F1 which breaks down overtime.
